Our journey: a community united

Founded in 2015, Ethio Kiwi of New Zealand Limited began with a vision to create a vibrant hub for the Ethiopian community in Auckland. We saw a need to provide comprehensive support, especially for families facing challenges such as new immigration, literacy, and language barriers. Our unique programmes are designed to fill these gaps, offering a lifeline to those who need it most.

More than just events: fostering growth

We run a diverse range of sports and cultural events that celebrate our rich heritage and bring people together. Beyond community gatherings, our dedicated after-school and holiday programmes provide a safe, inclusive space for children to learn, grow, and develop essential life skills. We ensure they stay connected to their cultural identity while preparing for a bright future.

Bridging the gap for every child

Many families in our community, including newly arrived immigrants, often face financial constraints and language barriers that limit access to extracurricular activities and academic support. Ethio Kiwi steps in to bridge this crucial gap. We empower children to build confidence, discipline, and ambition, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential, regardless of their background.
