ETHIO-KIWI FESTIVALS

We use the Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall, organising cultural performances, poem readings and a guest speaker. We hold these at least 5 or 6 times a year, including based around Christmas time and the Ethiopian New Year, or at the end of the school holiday programme. Around 200 people are in attendance, mostly from the Ethiopian migrant/refugee community in Auckland.
